Hi guys !

Im the french guys!

I need an answer for that question!!

How many times it will take for a ''good'' mecano to put an E36 M3 turbo?

Arround 1000$ to 2000$? (can)

And I KNOW it's a Turbo kit from Ebay shit.
BMW E36 6CYL 3.0L 3.2L M3 M COUPE T04E TURBO KIT 24 PCS:eBay Motors (item 230403510291 end time Nov-30-09 16:50:00 PST)

but it's just for the ''look'' not really for the boost...

it gonna be at 4 or 6 psi ... so it's only for the LOOK.

Please dont answer me stupidities like .. you gonna blow up your motor and something like that .. 4 psi of boost .. dont think gonna have problem here ...

So the question is !

How many times will need a good ''mecano'' for the installation.?

and is that turbo kit REALLY gonna cause me probleme or something bad?
if it's only at 4 or 6 psi?

Thanks for all your answer!!!

is that true? hehe

Our turbo components feature high quality materials such as high grade stainless steel and aluminum for

durability and reliability. Perfect for turbo projects! This particular turbo kit is capable of boosting horsepower

from 500 to 750+ HP. Our bearing turbo is easily capable of boosting 15-30+ PSI output at peak performance

power. Minor modifications may be required. 100% Brand New. Never Been Tried or Installed. Professional

installation is highly recommended (no instructions included)

None basically as $2000CAN works out about £1150 so you would need around $7500CAN, Its not really a diy job as you also have to get the ECU remapped and welding done to the exhaust, plus electrical wiring undertaken plus numerous other things

New tires --> 1500$
Supercharger install --> 7500$

Put in a supercharger if you must, but if it's for looks only save your money. Also, as someone started to say, if you get a supercharger, you will need to upgrade the brakes and clutch along with possibly the wheels to fit a big brake kit. The ECU reprogram ("remapping") is also a must. Just things to think about...

And for that much extra money - you could have gotten a newer M3, maybe with mods! Hmmm...

yeah, man. you don't dive into something this deep for looks...i mean you can, but....that's kinda lame.

if your just trying to rice up your M3 i would suggest some reflective tint and a fart can exhast....oh maybe an underbody neon kit.

:yezfunny ^^^This thread is getting hilarious. You can stick a "-GTS" on the trunk after the M3 logo so it reads the imaginary "///M3-GTS"...

Seriously, why spend all this money if it's not for performance? The answer to all is a loud and conspicuous exhaust - looks good, sounds good, minimal performance enhancement and costs a fraction of the whole set up described. Add the paint stuff if you want and you're all set!

i agree.

plus, converting to forced induction adds a little bit of maintenance...like more frequent oil changes / spark plugs...not to mention you are going to use more gas.

if you are in it for the performance than it's worth it, i'm not sure why you would want to invest that much into a car if not for performance...

Well for a start off....sports exhaust with sport Cats, an ECU remap, cold air induction kit, that will give you some more performance.

yeah, +1 on the ECU remap...there are a lot of really good chips out there that will make your M3 run sweeeeet!

if you do that a cold air intake and exhaust will only make your car faster/more efficient....not to mention it will sound better.

Try a Remus sport exhaust...other cheaper choices are a Scorpion or Ansa.
