suddenly the electric control of my driver seat & steering wheel ascwell as the memory stopped working. Any thoughts or ideas?

Yep....I would suspect its the connections under your driver's seat or a chaffed wire under there, if your passenger seat doesnt work then thats deffo it.Because with the drivers seat un-plugged the passenger seat will not operate.

Without attending the fault, every thing started to work again. But still I should check the connections.

I have observed that the passenger seat was fine when the fault was present.
