Did I mess up on my Clunker Money opportunity?

Ok,

So I just bought a 2007 BMW 335i (not deisel).. If anyone if familiar with the new "clunker" bill, please help.

I bought the 335i, and I also have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer lease, that I'm turning into GM early. I'm hoping I didn't screw up my opportunity by not registering or doing whatever I needed to do first to get the $3500-$4500 voucher.

Or does the 335i even qualify?

Does anyone have any insight on this, or if there is anything I can do?

Thx.

Nevermind.. just found my answer. I leased the car, it needs to be a car that I actually owned.. :mad

For anyone who owns an SUV, truck, etc.. Here's the info on the Clunker money:

The bill was actually suspended at 12 last night, the goverment has already went over the billion dollar budget most likely and they are afraid there is no money left to fund it any longer.
True, but they just extended it throughout the weekend:

Ah, that's good news. With all the clunkers my brother and cousin have, if they would let me use more then one to go towards a car I would be rolling big right now.
Believe it has to be applied towards a new car (not used) ...
yea it is for only buying a NEW car. Only certain models from makers are good for this deal. They did give more money to the program. They are trying to make it so you can buy a USED fuel efficient cars as well as new.
