check your users manual if you have it, there should be a little card in their with the radio code on it....if not you may have to go to a BMW dealership to get the code

yea that happened to me last week. There was no code card in my manaul organizer so I called 1 dealership and the bastards were charging me $70.00 (i think that was the price, maybe more) anyways, i called the other dealship more south of where i live and they did it for free. yes free!!! I just took it there and the guy pulled out my radio, took some numbers down and left for 10 minutes, came back and gave me the code. I was outta there in 15 minutes. So if i were you, call the bmw dealerships around your area and asked if there's a charge to get your radio code. This service by the way should be free, tell em to eat a fat [email protected]%@ if they charge you. hahahahaha good luck.

relax , if you can prove you own the car they will give you the code no problem. i have personally had to do this process and i was never charged. come to think of it, i dont know anyone personally that has been charged for them giving you the code. it only takes a second to do it. also ask the service guys if they have any ideas on how to put the code in. (sounds easy enough but anyone here that has had to go through this knows that if you mess up , its annoying to wait for it to reset.)

I posted this on an earlier thread. I was being charged $70.00 for them to give me my code. I told them, that was not right and that I am fully aware that if you own the car you would provide this service for free. The guy at the service dept. disagreed and said if I wanted the code I would have to pay $70.00, which would include the code and to see if anything was wrong with the radio. I told him, there's nothing wrong and that i needed just the code. Again he insisted it was going to cost $70.00. I was so upset, I should have reported him. :cya
