Hey, Quick question for one of you guys...I have a 1998 528i and my brake light just came on. Does anybody know how long I have until I change them and also any suggestion for the brake pads? (Should I get them from BMW or the Internet, etc?)

You should replace them as soon as possible. I think I went abot 1K miles and that was too long. I replaced mine with Padgid pads I ordered from Bavauto, similar in performance to stock pads. Don't forget to buy the sensor wire at the same time. To reset the light after the repair is made turn the key to the run position and watch the warning lights go out one by one. It should take about 11 seconds for the brake warning light to extinguish.
