OK every time I hit the brakes my wheels are nastified. I think the PO put cheap pads on her. Whats a good low dust brake pad? Or am I screwed and destined to either clean my wheels at every stop light or run around with nastified rims?

all stock bmw brake pads are like that, most european cars are like that, cause softer brake pads (like softer tire compounds) grip and perform better
if u have OE brake pads you probably have pagid pads which are known to emit alot of dust. there are many aftermarket pads that dont create as much dust as the pagids
i remember woobiee saying if you wax your rims, the brake dust will not collect as fast on the rims.

It isn't so much that it doesn't collect as fast, but you can clean it off quicker and easier when washing, and you can also wipe them off with a rag between cleaning in no time.
spray some dw40 on em
