I am thinking about getting a Reiger or M tech body kit....

The question I have is that I am worried that if my car needs to be towed...how does the towwing truck connect the harness to the front bumper if no screw inlet is there.....

Also whats the deal with fiberglass bodykits.... Yes I understand they are not as durable and can break/crack easily but the prices are so much cheaper..... Are they alot harder to install by a proffessional installer or what...

dude id go with a reiger infinity II kit. the Mkit is kinda played out (ya ya im installing one this month) anyways the deal with fibreglass is that it sucks. installers and painter dont like it because its so much harder to work with. needs more paint coats, the fit and finish is much more difficult, and obviously the end result is a less durable (i know first hand times two)

whatever you get stay away from fiberglass. besides them cracking really easy and breaking. they are very hard to install. they dont bend as easy as the ABS plastic ones do. which makes them much harder to instal.

mark the rieger infinity II kit is for widebody only.

Rieger makes 2 kits for the e36. the infinity I and the e46 style kit. I have the full Infinity one kit on my car if you need pics i can show you.

-Mr M3
stylin and dado have the zeemax kit. looks nothing like the rieger

I say stay away from the Mkit tho unless you have an M3

it does not have a tow hole. but my car has been towed twice so far and they just hook the tow hitch under the car and go from there. so basicaly the tow hole means jack. rieger front and hamann rear is a sweet combo. good luck with that.

The tow hole is only if you are towing the car yourself. All tow companies lieft the car (front or rear) for towing. No self respecting tow truck operator is going to take the time to screw a hitch into your car to tow it.

no when my car was towed last the guy hooked up a wintch to the tow hole and pulled my car up the flat bed...

So I guess you need the tow hole for flat bed trucks...

Still not needed. Usually they wrap chains around the end and pull it up from there. But again, you were there for the towing. If it was a 'parked illegaly' type tow they would just lift your car.

A long time ago... in a galaxy far, far away...

I had a 95 M3 that I paid too much for and I worked just to pay off the finance...
Now with my 325is which I paid cash all my money goes into the car after insurance....

So thats around 1300 a month on MODS :devil . Considering ive spent already 3 grand on maintance and labor costs.... in the past few months right now im just starting to go mod crazy :gulp

If you still don't understand.... put yourself in my shoes...
Im in high school, I don't have kids, i don't pay rent, i don't buy food, I havent bought new clothing in over 4 months, my shoes are falling apart, my hair looks like a cave man.... but my car is clean B) what else am i going to spend my money on???

I wish I was 19 and my dad was a corporate laywer and was handed an M3 but its not like that. I don't have an M3 with a CF trunk and 19s :p its just a 93 325is and to me its my world.

your not insuring your mods? if your car gets stolen or wrecked the insurance company is only gonna give you blue book value on a stock 325is. i understand your situation tho, i'm the same way, but i dont see how you have 1300 a month to spend after insurance
