hey guys i need help my bmw is down, i have a leak in my radiator, there is a small metal box that jacks into my radiator and splits to 2 small pipes and it sits on the bottom of my radiator, thats wat is leaking and ive neva seen this small metal box as im used to the jap crap cause all my mates drive them and most dont have em, can anyone help me?

Does the metal box connect to the radiator and does it have two lines running from it? Assuming your car has an automatic transmission it sounds like it might be your transmission heat exchanger...

that would be it, woot, now replacing it, it looks pretty easy but i cant find where i can get one from as i am in australia
