Just wondering about these angel eyes etc. I noticed some angel eyes aren't as bright as others...some have that blueish tint to superwhite kinda lights...some are just barely bright as stock parking lights....okay mine aren't that bright or not as bright as I wanted it to be I want it to be bright like some of the sigs I see here on the Forums. Whats the difference? is it the BULBS (LEDS) or is it the Voltage? or is it the Resistors it has on it? if I want mine brighter what must I exchange? any answer would definately be appreciated! thankz fellaz!! :driving

part of it is the technology. Some are LED, standard bulbs, and even fiber optic. If you want them brighter than you have now, I suggest upping the wattage, unless you have the money for a new kit.

I would say that if you have the technical know-how, you could go down to radio shack and pick up some ultra-bright white LEDs and hook that up. Or, if you wanted to be adventurous, you could use other colors. I've seen that on some ricers, and as retarded as ricers are, red or blue angel eyes look sick. oh joy.

My Dilema is are you sure I need to replace LEDS only to make it brighter or to get a lower RESISTORS to allow more wattage to run into the leds.....lower resistors more power, more brighter...but led life expectancy will drop, burnout quickly.....Right? So if getting different bulbs won't matter much if theres a limited current draw...anyone understand what I'm blabbing about......I just dont wanna take my headlight apart 10 times etc...back n' forth to see whats is working right....time consuming.....thanks.

A lower resisitor will make it brighter you are correct but if you don't get the right ones you will blow the led I say brighter led and lower resistance.

Different LEDs are rated for different amounts of current. I do believe that if you do it right, you can get it brighter without messing around with anything else. My advice to you would be to, if you want to try things out before you do them to your car, make a little prototype outside of the car to match the current, etc. If it works, then go ahead and start working on the real deal. If not, then you can either keep messing with it till you get what you want, or just give up. Perhaps you should call up the manufacturer and find out what they suggest.
