Greetings everyone! I'm in need of some advice.
The timing belt snapped in my 1991 BMW 325i, and I took it to my mechanic to get it fixed. They had to take out the engine and had to do a 'head job', cylinder work, etc. A week later my AC started to lose its coldness and now it doesn't blow out cold air at all. I don't want to go to my mechanic and blame his work, but is the AC unit removed or any hoses messed with when taking out the engine to cause a freon leak with my AC? Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated!

I found the answer to my problem. I spoke with my old mechanic from WI, and he said to remove the engine they need to remove a hose to get to a bolt on the cylinder head. Sounds like this is where the leak might be happening.
