I have taken out the bottom of the back seat but am unable to get the top out. Most manuals are explaining how to do it from the trunk of the car on non-convertible models; however, I can't find anything in the trunk since the top storage area is in the way. Any help please?? My stereo is not working so I am trying to get to the stock amplifier.

I have removed my back seat several times on the same model car. Once you know how it is easy. Once the headrests are out, kneel or stand where the seat bottom used to be, hold the TOP of the back seat about 4 inches in from the extreme sides and pull hard. ( Dont be shy there isnt much can be broken - it will require a good hard or steady pull - a quick jerk is better). make sure the seat fabric comes out from under the edge of the plastic cover over the rear window blower - it is not fastened there just sits under it. when you have the tops of the back out about 3 inches lift the seat up and it will come clear of the lower tabs.

Take a good look at how it was held so you can adjust your technique for putting it back or taking it out in future.
