I've called our fav parts places repeatedly and gotten only misinfo since NO ONE has ever actually replaced a sunroof motor cover. (Original fell apart)

Been up & down from my 3rd flr to the back where it's sweltering 8x, trying to unclip, disconnect, free up the switch which will do none of these things and break if forced.

Having been sent useless links & pdfs, I'm hoping I won't have to unplug the one lead, and clip & solder the other, but NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING.

Sunroof Motor Cover Replacement

Same here. I have OEM cover part in hand, but I don't want to tear up the switch. Any tips on how to disconnect the switch w/out ruining it and reconnecting it with the new cover in place? Theoretically this looks awfully simple. I've searched the web and haven't seen this simple issue covered.
