I have a 2003 745i with a leaking water pump. I've been searching for a while and I can't seem to find how to take off the electric fan in front. All of the DIY's that I've seen say to get that special tool to take off the nut, but there is no nut, so I don't know how to get it off to get access to everything.

If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

O, and if anyone wants to tell me to take it to the dealer and have them fix it for $800+....keep it to yourself. I'm going to fix it myself.

Done!

Nevermind, I wasn't thinking right for a few hours...I went back took it all apart and got the new one on in under two hours. I couldn't have done it without the DIY's.
