6 1/2 hours? you dont think thats a bit excessive? I know i bought my BMW to be driven, not to sit constantly in the driveway to only be washed for hours upon hours. I washed my car in 15 minutes today with zip wash and wax soap. Then i went and drove the hell out of it on my curvee ( a triple S road which i dominate ) No offence but it kinda seems to me that a lot of the people here actually dont know that much about the workings and mechanics of a car, and the same with driving technics but just like to wash their car all day. Seems like a mercadies or jag forum sometimes.

awsome jon....hey is your car auto or manual?
It's an auto but I gotta deal with a brutal one hour commute so it evens out... (Manual Pwnz) But I talked to my dealer last week and I might acquire a 330i Sport Bla BLa Bla with the 6-speed Tranny. The 323i will probably become my "beater car" LOL

are you talking about the performance package 330 or a 330i with sport package, because all new 330i/ci/xi/cic have a 6spd manual, regardless of packages

werd Jeff...

I take a lot of pride in owning this car...

I would rather spend 6 hours detailing the damn thing as compared to having some moron do the same thing for $300.00. It's a classy car so I act accordingly.

thats awsome jon.....the only thing that deturs me from that is the black woven cloth...if only i could have black leather with the alacarta side bolsters, id love it, but woven cloth, even though its a sport model, turns my butt off.....

hey i took 6 hours detailing my car once without cleaning my engine bay. I gotta detail my car again before the weather gets too hot.

L337E46-how do you clean the engine bay? just spray inside with water?
Pretty much same way that Cam did...

http://www.bmw-forums.com/forum/index.php?...t=ST&f=10&t=383

Rinse

Spray with Diluted simple green

and rinse

then apply SP80 (Cam used armorall) SP80 has a dull shine to it...

I deserve to be flamed for that one. Wont happen again. And your car does look great l337. Once again I apologize.
