do not order from them. Their parts are subqaulity and highly unreccomended. Also, in order to make use of the cone filter, it is best to install a heatsheild, or you risk an actual power loss. Plus, that pipe arm is so short all you would do is suck up hot air.
that is most def garbage, things cost money for a reason, get what everyone told you to get: bavauto.com, a k/n or bmp, i think bmp makes tthe best intake/heat shield, their heat shield is different from other companys' shit. the bmp shield is aluminum around the intake, others have a diffeerent setup, the other picture is racing dynamics, heres a thought- use both! that would be an interesting experiment
the best filter is k&n and you can get one for around $40. you can buy heatshields for around $50. or make your own for much less. that little shield on the bmp wouldnt be as effective as a real heatshield even though it may help a little. but all these products are basically the same, i.e. cone filters, thats what gives you any gain if any, and intakes are more effective if they are placed away from the engine rather than using a heatshield.
why aren't cai's built into most cars? it seems like a very easy, cheap way to get a 5-10hp boost for the manufacturer. just run a nice long tube from the bottom of the front bumper or something similar. i don't get why 80% of cars don't use them already
its because 95% of the people who buy cars dont want to hear it. they want a car that drives smooth and one that they can relax in. once you start to do things like more free-flowing exhausts or cai's...it makes it a louder ride, which many people try to steer away from
