I have good news and im sharing it with all of you. If i do well this year(3.8 gpa and above) i will get a 330ci or 325ci for my car. I was wondering all the cars i have seen dont have the color that i want. want a sort of dark charcoal type of steel gray color for my car. How much will it cost to paint it and i want to add a body kit or lip to it but i dont want to spend alot so any suggestions? Thanks

please dont consider repainting your car :thud no body shop can match the quality bmw does. even a $5k+ paint job with all the needed prepping wont last as long. bmw uses a state of the art painting process with insanely high temperatures to apply the original paint and can easily keep a smooth surface for very long time if maintained properly. it would be an ok thought if your car really needed it, but it is deffinately not worth it to sand off perfectly good paint unless money isnt a factor. bmw does offer Steel Gray Metallic as a color for E46 coupes, so your bound to come across a few while you shop.

Hey,

I just bought the car last Saturday so needless to say I don't have a picture of it just yet. I'll have one soon. I added BMW crome license plate frames and getting ready to add crome exhaust tips. I paid $22,000 for it.... 2000 323CI, Auto, 17" wheels, black leather, very clean.

Hey, that is awesome that you are able to get a BMW if you do well in school. Are you looking to buy the car from a dealer or from a private owner? Is it going to be a brand new BMW or a used one? Let me know and good luck with the school year!!

That's awesome. I don't know if you are the same person as at my school, but someone at my school is able to get a BMW is he gets good grades as well. How ironic?!

MrM3 is right, please do not repaint the car, unless its absolute. BMW is the first to use this unique painting process (prob the only car makers to use this type of process). So im with MrM3 on this one, unless you have a car that the paint is awfully maintained, i recommend not respraying it.
