I have just bought a 1998 328is Bmw. It has 190 hp, and no mods except for new rims and tires ( i coudn't bare to look at the 15" bmw rims anymore, no offense to anyone that likes them.) Anyways, I want to get my car up above 200 hp maybe near 220. And I was trying to figure out the least expensive way i could do that. Could I get some advice?
Thanks.

i had a 215hp 328i....with a chip, CAI, and exhaust from dinan (im a dinan guy) youd have around 206hp....
Why the difference Speed? And how much did those mods run you?

Chip, intake and exhaust and u can put down 185-190hp to the wheels.. 190-195lbs of tq as well. My last dyno minus the SC was 185hp and 188lbs of tq in 95F weather.

check www.turnermotorsport.com i believe they sell conforti chips and sharks

actuallly i believe that your car is gonna have to be sharked, the chips that soddered in were for E36 1992-1995 after 1996 the way to modify the car was by remapping the software (sharking)
go with a conforti chip (i agree with cam its the best), nice exhaust i think that supersprint or remus pull best numbers and a good CAI.

exhaust will not add a whole lot of hp..the most sensible upgrades to start out with are CAI and chip, then if u want to venture further you could look into getting a pulley upgrade from rogue engineering. they claim this gives you 9 more hp for about $200 or so.
