The 3 series wagon is smaller than the 5 series wagon. Yet, the specs I've been able to find indicate that the maximum cargo capacity of the 3 series wagon is actually greater (60.9 cu ft vs 58.3 cu ft). How much of a difference is this (seems negligible to me)? I currently own a VW Passat and I'm able to load a road bicycle (front wheel removed) upright in the back with rear seats folded down. Will I be able to do this in the 3 series wagon?
