My daughter has a 2013 X4 i28. Originally I had two faults codes, P0072 and P0073 both of which indicate a problem with the ambient temperature sensor. I replaced the faulty sensor and those faults have cleared, but now I have a fault U0100 that doesn't show up in the shop manual. An online search says that the U0100 code means Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A".

Does anyone know what the U0100 code means and how to remedy it?

Thanks

After all these "reads", no one came up with an answer. The car healed itself. Who would have think?
