The latch mechanisms are working fine but they need adjustment because they are too far closed to accept the top cover clips. I can't drive with the top down because the top cover pops up since it is not latched.

Does anyone know how to adjust them?

I am having the same problem with my 2003 e46 325ci. It doesn't close all the way stuck open between windshield and the front top end of the convertible top. Please help! How do I lower the it down? What is holding it open? Is there any reset or release switch?

One of wire of the convertible top driver side was pinched disconnected, repaired the wire and got the motor and convertible to function but every time I tried to close the top, It won't close all the way. It's having about 8 inches open gap between the windshield and top end.
