Hi all,
I have a 1984 bmw e30 that i just recently purchased that wont stay running. I start it and i fires up and then shuts down instantly. If i then wait about a minute and try and start it again and it does the same thing. I know its getting fuel and spark and i just drained the tank and put fresh gas in it. its got a new fuel pump in it. I noticed a bundle of wires that ran from the fuel pump relay and the cluster of relays located in the little box of relays on top of the drivers side wheel well. The bundle of wires runs to a 3 pin female connector with the snap clip which isnt plugged into anything. It looks just like a temnp sensor wire connector. Does anybody have any idea what this wire is supposed to run to. I feel like this is my problem. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
