Money no object, a 507 would be awesome. But if you just want the most bang for the buck, a 2002 is the way to go. Lots of aftermarket parts and they are fairly cheap.

Usually oil coolers don't involve water at all. They usually run an oil line to a seperate radiator (small) that has only oil circulating in it and colls it with air, just like the normal radiator...

I haven't tried to adjust the volume but from what I understand, it can be adjusted only with your phone handset, not with the stereo itself. Sound quality is good, not superb but good.
