OK>>>>! ive read all ur responces, and i dont mean to knock your brands,
but if you want the Best... i would go with

MMATS or DD (Digital Dimensions)
I will say they are very very expensive compared to hte other brands,
but they will never blow, and if they do, they send u a new one from free, all u have to pay is shipping

MMATS are champion subs in almost every level at the competitions, always placing first at every sound competition that i have went to

one of there expensive subs, the Juggernaut, is almost a Grand just for hte Sub, but cant handle up to 2500watts just to the one sub, and Still wont blow (Ive seen testing at shows, and articles in magazines!!!&#33

Check OUt MMATS Pro Audio, before u make your final decision, you wont be sorry!

if u want more info on mmats let me know, i know quite a bit about audio!
ill take pictures of my set up, u migh tlike it!

Isnt DD digital designs?.. i think it is
second - MMats and DD is exactly what you said - competition audio
they have not great quality at all compared to the audio equip thats made for the normal user...

not saying that they are bad, but they are made for competition and should stay there... most people wouldnt be pleased with those components because the quality of sound lacks and they are extremely loud

good luck again

I would love to have competition subs, but like i said. I'm not rich and can't afford them. I'm 15 who works construction in the summers and nothing in the winter-i can't afford them. But for shits and giggles i'll read up on DD and the other brands! So thanks for the info. But now i need some help with somethin i can actually get. A mild priced stereo that will keep me happy. Anyone with a simple answer? Brands?

If competition subs are what you really want, they can be had in your budget, you just have to shop in the right places.. but like i said they will lack in the sound quality department and get extremely loud, however in your post above, you said you want clean bass more than anything else....
i have a lot of experience with all types of audio equipment so i can tell you that if you want the quality more than anything you should look at some other equipment - like Image Dynamics or something similar...

again - it would be nice to chat on AIM or MSN to see your main goal is and see what you want to help you get the most for your money - its hard to recommend audio equipement where every brand is so different from the other in so many ways over a forum.

I'm very lucky! I've been savin money for this car for the past 3 summers. I turn 16 in march! I can't wait. Why can't I be 15 and have an M3? It was cheap, so that's the main reason I got it, I wasn't even looking at BMW and I just stumbled across it and realized it was a great deal and couldn't pass it up. A 98 M3 with 51486 miles and a lil damage for 8500. Fixed for under 11. I woulda been an idiot to not get it.
