I agree which u soonerE39..well up to 2003 at least...they really have done it now with the E60 looking like a mini 7...I guess it hasnt grown on us yet just like da 7... Maybe by the time the M5 comes out, we'll have different opinions..specially with 500hp V10....

I saw a E60 (2004) 530i today at my kids school. I'm beginning to get used to them but I don't know if I will ever like the styling as well as the E class Benz.
I am also concerned about reports from E60 owners about poor handling charicteristics in windy situations.

So who is right sooner Cba say and his link says that a 2003 530i is an E60. You say the new body style is the start of the e60 designation. I agree it is a great car. I actually traded a 2000 740il because it felt to big. The 530i with sport package is just such fun to drive, I had an 83 633csi and 5 handles much better.

Guys, the E60 is a 2004 model. It may have a 2003 production date like mine (08-03) but it is a 2004 model. Yes, 2003 was the last year of the E39.
