Last week I finally decided to change the valve cover gasket on my 325is. Because of work schedule, car has been idle for some time. The job went smooth and went ahead and ran it up to temp. Did not drive it because I was waiting for a heater closing panel to arrive from ebay. I ran a compression test and across the board, 1 thru 6 I got:
210, 213, 217, 216, 219, 216 Dry
219, 260, 245, 262, 244, 245 Wet.
I bought this car with about 190K and have now 201K miles on it. I've had it about 3 years. The test was fuel pump fuse out, full throttle, 5-7 seconds each.
Does anyone have any thoughts on these numbers? i bwas thinking that I brought the temp up to normal but oil never reached its point. Could that give me these numbers?
