Replacing Conv top deciding on color

I have a beautiuful 2000 Atlanta Blue Z3 2.3 The car has beige leather interior and a beige top. The top is heavily soiled and worn and I am planning on replacing it. The upholstery shop suggested that I choose a black top opposed to the beige because it stays cleaner so much longer and doesn't show wear as easily. Personally, I prefer the black tops to the tan in appearance but since the interior is beige I am wondering if a black top will look funny. The car only has 35,000 miles on it and I am considering selling it. I know that a new top will definately improve it's value but don't want to hurt my chances of selling it because the black is mismatched w/the tan interior. I am just looking for some feedback and general preference on color combinations. Any help and/or input would be greatly appreciated.
