newz34me is on a distinguished road
2000 z3 2.3 with m logo on steering wheel

Just bought a 2000 2.3 z3 and on the steering wheel it has an m logo, is there an add on i don't know about or are all z3 like this???? Thank

Simple. Many cars, including yours and mine, have what is called an "///M package" inside - usually comprised of an ///M steering wheel, gear shift knob and brake boot. It's pretty common on certain models and is a good thing - enjoy it. RM

Another possibility is that a previous owner simply swapped in an M steering wheel.

i was wondering this EXACT same thing , i thought some one changed my wheel , i have also seen seats that are 2 tone and have deeper bolsters in them , is this something else ??? i thought the seats were part of a m package , but my seats are plain ....???

Mine is a 2000 2.8..and it came with the M logo on the steering wheel. Didn't gain anything else, but i found it interesting..

Yea, you have a car with the m-tech package... basically dresses up the insides a bit more than base. The seats you are talking about are the specific seats found in the M versions. Since your car is a non-m Z, it has the standard seats. I believe that some non-m cars were offered with these as an option, referred to as "sport seats", but it is pretty rare to see.

How about the cargo net/cover..is it the same part no. or will it fit on both Z & mZ coupes?
