| So long... I'm checking out of the Z3 forum and checking in to the 1-series forum. I traded my Z3 (AND my MINI) for a 128i yesterday. I'll miss the Zed, but with our family having grown unexpectedly (!) I can't see keeping it around when it only seats 2.
Thank you all for the advice you've given me. I really loved the car, but it's time to move on.
I'll be curious to see what the dealer does with it. It has 45K on it and is in pretty good shape, but the dealer said they'll probably auction it. Probably said that to justify a lowball...
It's a 2.8, Oxfordgruen, brand new top and brakes, 6 months on the tires. If you see it for sale, be advised that the airbag light comes on all the time, the 'guibo' or driveshaft makes the clunking noise between first and second, and the mileage is really low compared to what it was/should be. It also leaks from the windshield, and the stereo has been replaced by an aftermarket unit (before I got it) and there are wires going to the sub through the top storage area (they had to reconnect them when they changed the top)
Just a heads up. It's a nice car, but needs some work.
Good luck to everyone.
