 Part Name - upper engine
Thanks for opening thread. My prob is a whistling or high pitch propeller type noise coming from upper right side of engine. The part is round, flush, and made of black plastic. It's held in by two or three side screws. There are two small rubber hoses connected to it at the bottom. It is very accessible (just below upper manifold cover). It may be set-in with an o-ring as there is a tiny evidence of oil around the part. Can anyone tell me the name of this part. Also, any tips or forewarnings as I get into DIY? Is it something that needs replacing or just oiling (wouldn't that be nice?)? |
