Painting The Brake Calipers!?????

Hello to All,

I would like to hear from those that have painted their Brake Calipers!
I have a few questions? I have a 2006 Z4 3.0SI, I would like to paint the calipers Red to match the exterior color od bright Red on my car.

1. What brand of paint did you use?

2. How long did it take?

3. Will it be a problem for me to put the Z4 on 4 jack stands? Where did you place them under the car?

4. Any other tips and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

My Brembo big brake kit came in red, but my shop painted my rears red to match the front. The are smaller of course, but are still hard to see except in bright light. I'd take a long hard look at the slip on covers. Try Bav Auto as I think their price is reasonable and they have very good products. Good luck!
