I'll admit I'm not very handy but I need to buy and replace the right side cup holder for my 2004 Z4. Is this something I can do myself? I found replacement part on eBay for $46. Wanted some advice before buying.
I have 2003 Z4, I have broken the cup holders on both sides at least twice in the last 4 years. Carefully disassemble the cup unit, you may find that a couple of parts have just snapped out of their holding position in the injection moulded unit. Snap back together and re-install. In four occurrences have only had to completely replace 1 unit.
