M3 power seat issues

i am the proud owner of a 1999 M3 roadster. it's starting to have a few electrical 'issues' and i can deal with most of them. my biggest problem is that the controls on the driver's side power seat have gone kaput. i've checked the fuses and everything looks fine. any suggestions?

I think I'd have a check of the wiring around and the switches themselves. (Be careful; pull the related fuses first.)
