Help! New/old Z3M and need help!

Hi folks,
I am new to this forum and need some instructions for my newly purchased '99 Z3 M with 15,000 on her.
How do I keep from creasing the rear plastic window when dropping the top???
Would like to either apply some 3-M protective plastic to front end and sides or add a bra and would appreciate some input as to the wisdom of making either choice???? Where is the best place for purchase?
Thinking about adding a 6 CD player to my ride and would appreciate info as to how to install and where is the best place to purchase a unit?
Sorry about all the questions but I'm wild about this car.

There are some aftermarket companies that offer an insert to place in the window when closing. I would guess that over time, the crease will appear anyway.

But.....I would go to the nearest fabric store and get the softest yet most durable fabric they offer, i.e., felt and use that as the insert. It will be the most cost effective.
