buying 99 m/roadster

Looking at 99 m roadster w/55k on it.Blk metallic w/hardtop.Looks to be in good shape all the way around with new brakes and pilot tires.Only thing is center a/c registers are loose,the glovebox door is sagging and shift knob is loose{I can pull it right off}.Car drives well,tight with no obvious issues.Are these items normal wear problems and what else should I look for before making an offer.Car is at an high end dlr.Price is$ 14,900.Thanks for any suggestions/direction as this will be my 1st BMW.

Get it professionally inspected by a local independant mechanic; the most biggest thing I can recommend before dropping any large quantity of money. The $200 he'll charge is small change to any even moderate repair you might overlook by not knowing what you're looking at, even if you know what to look for.
