Been busy over the past while upgrading the suspension and wheels on my car - so thought I'd share some pics.
Suspension overhaul included:
E-Tech front strut brace
FK Silverline Coilover Plus suspension
Camber adjustable top mounts (front)
BMW OEM M3 strut reinforcement plates (front)
BMW OEM shock mount gaskets (front)
Meyle Heavy Duty top mounts (rear)
BMW OEM shock reinforcement plates (rear)
BMW OEM shock mount gaskets (rear)
Full Powerflex polybush kit (front and rear)
New sway bar/drop links (front and rear)
TPI hubcentric 3mm wheel spacers (front)
TPI hubcentric 15mm wheel spacers (rear)
FK Silverline Plus Coilovers:
FRONT TOP MOUNTS:
I decided to use the OEM M3 strut tower reinforcement plate along with the camber adjustable top mount and also invested in a new gasket:
REAR TOP MOUNTS:
These are Meyle HD items with the Z3 reinforcement plate and new gasket (exact same as the UUC kit):
E-TECH STRUT BRACE (already fitted):
The wheels I chose were Beyern Multi.
18" Beyern Multi wheels (staggered - 18x8.5 front (225/40/18) and 18x9.5 rear (255/35/18))
update - gave the car a quick wash (it was very quick! LOL! - as I plan on having a monster detailing session next weekend! and don't have too much time today ) - I've now raised the height in the rear and removed the rear 15mm spacers and taken it for a quick drive and there is now no rubbing issues at all... I still need to have it set up and aligned properly - but will arrange to book this over the next week or so.. so thought I'd add some more pics! (let the pic whoring commence...)
