2005 z4 convert

the rear subs have stopped working on my car. I didnt notice for awhile but i put my hands on the grills and its definitely not working. I actually pulled both covers and same situation with both. the the little speakers on top of the subs have sound, although not much. the fronts work nice and loud. where should I should start looking? I looked at the fuse for the radio behind the glove box ( fuse 47 and 50 ) and they look good. i replaced the top on my car last week but i didnt see any wires dangling except the defroster wires and the fluid lines for the pumps.

Remove the subs (if possible) and check the wiring. On most cars its a small little plug that can come loose over time, or the wiring may have frayed somewhere.
