2000 Z3 Differential

Going to replace the differential in my 00 z3 2.5 with an auto trans. Found one from an E30, and from what I have read these are direct bolt ins, my question is it has 373:1 gears will this be ok, will I still be able to do highway driving?? Everything I have been looking at is a lsd which I have also heard is the best thing if going to replace it. Thanks
