Angry X5 3.0i 2002 Door

Drivers side door, handle that you use to open door, the cable that goes to the doorlock, (inside the door). The plastic part that holds that cable up next to the door lock is broken. Does anyone know where to get this part? I have to roll the window down and reach outside door handle to get out of the X5, its driving me nuts! Any of you buffs help me find this part?

The only answer I could see is to go to the dealer (or buy online) a new door handle. I assume you mean that the plastic piece is attached to the handle.

The part number for the handle is 51 41 8 408 565 and lists for $41.29.

There are a number of parts stores online, just look for x5 parts... I would recommend going to a dealer though because that way you're guaranteed that its an OEM part. You could probably just call the closest dealer and they'll ship it to you...

matt you used Real OEM right, or do you have the TIS program on your comp?

anyway i just looked there to see of the door handle came into different parts but it does not, so you prob. will have to purchase a new handle and as matt said: $41

i use real-oem for the pricing, but I use the ETK on my comp. It's a lot easier to navigate than a website.
