Hi there Experts

I just had my 07 X3 a yr ago.. didnt drive it much, but i guess the inspection is due (every 5000 as per the dashboard sign), i m just wondering what kind of inspection is required? how much does it usually cost?does it really have to be done at the BMW mechanic? how much do they charge??


Also, when i close the door of the vehicle, it closes with a rough noise. I have seen many cars they usually closes in a smooth pattern .. any idea on that??

at 5k thats probably going to be oil change, rotate tires and even change your filters. I would say do the oil change and tires. do the filters every other unless you have the cash and want to change every 5k
