Reverse Wire

I need help finding that reverse wire where I can tap in the (+) wire of the back-up camera. Will the ones behind the brake lights (blue, yellow on the right or yellow, brown on the left)be sufficient?

Yes... Tap into the wire with a "scotch-lock"...
The worse thing that can happen is that you might get a "Check Reverse Light" on your dash, unlikely though !

So, I tapped the reverse cam on the blue/yellow (+) and the brown (-) wires behind the left backup light. The camera will show on the monitor for about 5 seconds, then it will start to flicker before the screen blacks out.

Any other suggestion? Thanks again.

Try it again, but go to the rear and notice the reverse lights whilst the screen struggles... Do they dim? Does the wire get warm?
If yes, then maybe a relay would solve it !
Maybe the wire is not thick enough to power the cam/screen... Try 15-20 amp/gauge wire...
