FYI - style #214 are off the newer model X5, and apparently on fit on an 07' and newer...2 BMW service department guys said yes, they can fit (with spacers??), and 2 said no, absolutely not.

Well, both models have the same bolt pattern (5 x 120). The offset on the style 214 is 40/Front, 37/Rear. At least on a pre-07 3.0 I think they should fit. What model do you have?

Alright. I found the last piece of info you need. The hub on the E70 (2007 and newer) is different from the one on your x5. The wheels can be installed using hubcentric rings.

It has been done before:

Updated E53 with new E70 Style 214's - X5world
