any body can explain what is Code P0703 on 1999 530i? It looks like the transmission but I do not know what could be wrong and how extensie is the repair?

does the reader say its the torque convertor. If not then if it says transmission before you spend thousands on repairs try to clean the connectors to the transmission. They can get dirty and end up throwing codes.

Otherwise your tranny might be going out...which will get expensive. and those trannys are known to go out.

Thanks for response. The code says somthing like 4th gear ratio. Other wisr the car drive and shifts fine. do you think the transmission getting ready to go?
