Question 15k Mile Oil Change Interval?
I've had my '11 X5 for a year now and have 10,500 miles on it. The vehicle says I don't need an oil change for another 6,000 miles / December 2012. It seems like of course BMW would know best, but I've never gone that long with oil changes before. Will the dealer do an oil change (for free as part of the maintenance plan) sooner than the interval the car says? Or will I have to pay for it?

Just curious everyone else's experience. Thanks!

Speedlogix is on a distinguished road
The X5 is only a year old, so it's covered under warranty and the BMW maintenance. I just want to change the oil more often than the 15k miles.
