'06 X5 Suspension

Hiya all,
We bought a 2nd hand x5 in June and it had only done 34,000km but was owned by a single guy. Ever since we have got it the car tracks across the road (thanks to 20 inch rims) but the suspension is as stiff as a board. Its like got no softness whatsoever. It has the sports package on it but this is just too stiff. It makes it very dangerous to drive

Can anyone help me?

Thanks
OR31LLY

Sounds like theres something wrong with the dampers. as it comes bundled with BMW’s Adaptive Drive, a roll stabilization technology that works with an electronic damper system. Adaptive Drive uses the new FlexRay data transmission technology that rapidly exchanges vehicle data between individual suspension control systems to ensure almost instant response from road surfaces and driving dynamics.

I would take it to a suspension/tyre place or even the dealer, something deffo isnt working as it should be, as its adaptive.
