Winter Washing

For those of you who live in colder climates like I do (I live in the mid west). I have recently started washing my car in the garage. I get two buckets, one with soap and one with plain water. I then wash my car in sections, when one section is complete, I dry it with a microfibre towel. This has worked well for me and is better than letting salt and other crap sit on my car. It is also a cheaper and better alternative to the car wash as it is hand washed and I don't have to spend about $10 to wash it. I have had great results.

I have used microfiber for years now and I love it, it makes your car look like you just waxed it.

See, I hate how my city has decided to cover the streets in salt when we get an inch of snow. I won't have a garage until May so my car pretty much stays dirty because if I wash it, less than an hour later it'll be dirty again.

It's starting to get warmer though, so if we're done with this snow I might go wash if next weekend.
