We got one because i hate drying cars, and i have to still soap off all the dirt with my car washing mitt before i wash and spot rinse. then it really works like it should. the soap spray just cant get the dirt off on its own
thanks, one more thing, can anyone tell me if its ok to use different soap on the car? and if so can you use the different soap in the soap cartrage

get a california water blade to dry ur car. it takes about 30 seconds to do all of a corvette and gets it bone dry without all the mess of cloths and shit.
well... the mr clean auto dry works if you wash your car right. I have a black car so i like using it. Sometimes, I use the big grey (or blue) towel or the absorber. It all depends on my mood but they all work.

Yes, it's okay to use a different soap.
Try RainX self-dry. It may work in the soap cartridge because it's also fomulated to not leave spots.

what's a 'california water blade'?
and how does it work?
it works like ur wipers. its surgical grade rubber that cuts the water off the paint and dry's it the same way ur wipers to to ur screen. really flexible to get into the cracks and curves. its what i use.

California water blade works pretty good...gets most of water off...I still use a towel though, when I'm done w/CWB.
BTW...what does "surgical grade rubber" mean? I think the ad agencies made that term up. I sure hope no one cuts me open with surgical grade rubber!!

No squeaks or rattles... unreal!
um, prob that it retains shape, and has a memory to reform when its gotten into all the cracks, soft so it doesn't scratch. i dunno. ad scam, but it works
california water blade leaves swirl marks... stick with a chamios... " the absorber" is the best... DON"T BE LAZY.... WASH THE CAR and DRY it yourself... much better results.... i barely bring my car to a carwash in the winter, when there is snow/salt/sand on the ground!!!
I agree with cruzin 323, wash the car by hand and dry it with a chamois it will take a bit more time but the results are worth it. Also, its not like u can wash everywhere with that mr. clean thing or something like that, you are going to have to do the wheels, tires, door jams, and trunk jam by hand anyway.
