i was recently rotaing my tires and i have a set of Borbet polished alloys. When i first got them it told me to way them so i did. When i went to clean and rotate my rims and tires the rims just straight up wiped clean. So wax your alloys folks. A thin layers works well and dont buff to a show room shine. Just buff it until the wax is clear. Turtle wax seems to work pretty well.

I use Collinite on my wheels. It lasts longer then Klasse AIO. I dont understand how because collinite is mostly carnuaba wax. BUT I have done one half of the wheels with AIO and the other half with Collinite insulator wax. The collinite lasted longer! used:
