I have some swirls on the hood on my M3...its black. Other than the hood, the car doesn't have many swirls. I want to remove these swirls and not just conceal them. I have a 25 dollar orbital buffer from wal mart. What do i do? What do i need? The swirls are kind of bad. THanks.
if u need more help cheak out this site. I i found that they are a little better. they will recommend a product even if it isnt theres, or isnt in there stock. nice articles too. I just spend 150 bucks there last night.
wash/polish/wax.
in doing so, use your hand rather than the buffer. depending on the polish/wax you use, allow time for it to cure. wipe off then again with a clean towel. then repeat for the wax process. you should have a final deep swirl free finish.
OR
you can take it to my shop. $120 will get you full detail inside and out regardless of the condition.
or u can spend around 300 for everything u will ever need to make a 17 year old car looks brand new again, plus enought stuff to detail some of the neighboors cars for some extra cash...investments investments lol

Maybe post a full report in the "new products review" forum.
