Residue from labels left on visors

I have the anthracite headliner and visors, which is the cloth-like, not vinyl. These are on the m3's as well as the 330i ZHP.

I followed the instructions on removing the warning labels off the visors from another board and the labels left a residue. I do like the way they look without those tacky labels, but you can see that the labels have been there.

Is there a product out there that will clean these visors safely? I know there are products for cleaning the vinyl, but again mine have the cloth-like visors.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i dont know actually mikey, what have you tried so far? and have you thought of finding some sort of BMW sticker to cover it up if need be?

okay, i just contacted a professional detailer who is very knowledgable with BMW's. he suggested using 3M GPAC, pouring on a towel and lightly rub in one direction. then lightly clean with soap and water. it will not harm the material.

i'm going to try this this weekend. i'll let you know if it works.

I've been thinking about taking those stupid stickers off myself, i'm eagerly anticipating the verdict=)
