re dieing a steering wheel

steering wheels take the most abuse and look the worst even though the int may look good , the steering wheel can look like it went through a war , i take mine and clean it good with a rag and lacqure thinner , i mask off all buttons and what ever you dont want to spray , then take a old blanket or plastic and lay it on the dash and column then spray int dye in several light coats , ive done many of these and they hold up well after use . good luck and your mileage may vary !!!
